Raised with horses and farming in a family of horsewomen, Sus Kellogg's love and respect for horses and the natural world began at an early age.

Her approach with horses has evolved alongside a lifelong study of yoga and ecology and is founded in honoring the nature and dignity of the horse.

Her teachers have been horses, as well as people, including Angela Farmer, and early John Lyons and Pat Parelli. In 1999 she founded Free Horse Farm and Essential Horsemanship.
